This is one of the nearest mall in our area. Well, not really very near because I need to drive around 40 to 45 minutes when I go there. If I take the train, it is around 40 minutes ride but I still to drive the nearest train station which is around 15 kilometers from where I live. I am glad that I have a driver’s license and a car which bring me anywhere I want. It is such and advantage especially when I go and travel anywhere.

It is finally 2014! I know all of us are hoping for a more better and prosperous year. I also hope that you are currently enjoying the first week of this year. I am having a wonderful one inspite being at home. I don’t really feel bored because I always find things to do so. I am also happy because there were already blessings the past days. I am indeed thankful for any blessings big and small.
Our last dinner in 2013.
I should be sharing this post during the fist day of the year but I was just busy with some things. Our last dinner in 2013 was only simple. I decided not to prepare a lot because I don’t want it to land in the trash can after some days. I cooked some foods which are quite enough for some days. (more…)

Norway is a unique place to visit. Located in and around the Arctic Circle, there are several places to visit in Norway that cannot be experienced anywhere else in the world. When visiting make sure that you make time to experience the following:
1. Eastern Region – Oslo
Oslo, capital of Norway is rich in culture and heritage. This area is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and some of Norway’s finest skiing spots. Visitors to Oslo often use this city as a central point to touring the eastern region.
Oslo by Night.
2. Southern Region – Telemark
Perhaps one of the most beautiful towns to take a Norway holiday is in southern Norway. Telemark is most noted for its canal that leads from the sea to the mountains. A boat trip through the waterways will provide you with breathtaking scenery that changes by the minute. The area is known for delicious sea food and quaint shopping areas. (more…)

Let’s travel to the world of food again! Before that, I want to express my gratitude because I am feeling very better now. I believed I am 99% well now after almost two weeks of being sick. A bad influenza caught me and after over a week of taking medications, thanks God I am feeling good now. See how important, our health is? You cannot go or travel anywhere if you are sick. That is why no travel for November for me!

If I am not mistaken, I already visited this town 5 or 6 times. I am still trying to remember it. I always love Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is a lovely town in town in the district of Ansbach of Mittelfranken (Middle Franconia), the Franconia region of Bavaria, Germany.

Spain’s capital and largest city has been the dream-destination of many tourists from around the world! Madrid has a lot of things and sights to offer to its guests and visitors. Being known for its great cultural and artistic heritage like the El Prado museum, no wonder it is visited by millions of tourists all year round.
Palacio de Cibeles, Madrid’s city hall in Cibeles Square at night. I took this image during my second visit last winter 2012.
Madrid is one of my favorite cities in Europe. That is not a question because I already visited it twice. This is the only city in Europe where I explored from east to west and from north to south! I spent three weeks there during my second visit last winter 2012. Thanks to all good friends for their kindness and generosity in accommodating me during my second visit. (more…)

It is almost two years now since my last vacation in Andalusia. This beautiful region of Spain is a must-visit to all tourists and visitors who love culture, history, dining and entertainment. During that 7-day trip in this region, we visited Seville (Andalusia’s capital city), Granada, Cordoba and El Albayzin, a lovely town near Granada. Madrid and Toledo were also included in that itinerary.

Milan, one of the many destinations I wish to experience in Italy. It did finally happened last spring season. Oh well, not really spring when I visited Milan but it was still winter time because I went there last March of this year. The weather was still cold that time but very better than the weather in Germany.

One of the places I want to visit again in Spain. Cordova, known as Spanish as Córdoba is a very historic city in the region of Andalusia in Spain. According to our tour guide, it is the second largest Old town in Europe and the largest urban area in the world declared World Heritage by UNESCO. No wonder many tourists from all corners of the globe visit this city all year round. Besides, during winter season, the temperature in Cordova is quite mild, perfect for sightseeing.

How did I booked my Cordova trip?
We received every month this ADAC magazine, an automobile magazine who also sells insurances of all kinds. In one of their advertisements, I saw an offer about a holiday to Spain. I contacted some of my friends if they wanted to go with me in that travel. Two were interested but only my lovely friend, Joy booked that trip with me. (more…)
