I should be going to sleep right now since it is almost midnight in  Europe. Before I do that, let me share this first. I am just happy because another home improvement is finally done. Today is history for  me because this is the day when I first used our newly renovated bathroom.  I had a good time relaxing on our new bathtub. It is not too big but quite good enough to do some personal business. You know what I mean folks?

After all the hard works and labour  made by hubby, he is so happy seeing the result of it. It was a total renovation and truly required a lot of time and effort. He used to do the repair during his off days from work. Finally after around five months of renovating it, he now see the very good result.

“Health is Wealth”,  as the saying goes!  Everyone wants to be  happy and healthy all the time.  This is one thing  that cannot be bought by money. Right folks!

I also wanted to be happy and healthy all the time and I  can say that  at the moment, I am happy and contented with my simple  life.

Sometimes we cannot really avoid getting sick. Yesterday, I went to the doctor for a check-up.  I have a cough that is bothering me sometimes. It is actually bothering me  almost every day. Not really all  day long but it just triggers anytime of the day.  My cough and colds  started sometime in July in which I also visited the doctor for consultation. She prescribed  some medicine. I felt better but the cough is still there.

During my visit yesterday, the doctor  made some tests and she said that  she will refer me to the specialist.  With the tests and symptoms that she  encountered, she said that I might have an asthma. I really don’t feel like  having an asthma.  She immediately called the Pulmonologist  nearby to make an appointment for me. Sad to say,  the nearest one is on vacation for a month. She contacted the one in the nearest city but is also on vacation leave. On Monday, I will call the clinic   because they will be backed from their vacation.

I hope and pray that everything will be okey soon. I don’t really feel sick. I am healthy but only this cough is bothering me..so help me Lord!

Food..food..food and more food…I believed everyone wants food everyday. I do the same but now I am trying not to eat top much because I am trying to reduce my weight. I really need to or else I am going to explode..haha!

Anyway, my friend ordered this Tomato Mozzarella on Sticks in a German restaurant  for the graduation party of her daughter. Does this looks yummy? I love this food.

The term mozzarella is used for several kinds of Italian cheeses that are made using spinning and then cutting..(hence the name, as the Italian verb mozzare means “to cut”. I am learning European food and terms now.

Fresh mozzarella is generally white, but may vary seasonally to slightly yellow depending on the animal’s diet.

I already forget which party or event did I ate these yummy Filipino cuisine. Maja de ube, a dessert made from mashed purple yam and coconut milk.  I remember preparing maja blanca during  my college days but now I already forgot how to do it. It is very similar to maja de ube but  the latter only has ube  in it.  I guess, I need to learn doing it again.

I know how to prepare some Filipino desserts but not really all. I also have many friends who can really cook good when talking about Filipino desserts and cuisines.  Thanks to my friends  for letting me  taste their foods and  recipes.

I was invited by the parents of my friend  who visited Europe last year. Since my friend don’t have a driver’s license, I offered to drive for her parents to the nearby town. These couple are really nice ones. They asked me if we can dine-out in a Chinese restaurant. Since there is only one in the town where we drove to, we don’t have any other choice but to go there.

 They were  a bit complaining because the serving of each menu was not that many. They said that in the US the servings are really a lot and you cannot even eat the whole serving. Sorry, they are in Germany. Anyway, at  least we had  a great  time conversing with each other, sharing thoughts, ideas and experiences.

Here are the food we ordered to the Chinese restaurant. I guess the one on the left side is called Chow mien noodles and on the right one is a beef with bamboo shoots, broccoli  and paprika. Not really that bad, only the servings are too  little for I guess 7.00 Euros each.

I know for sure that this blog of mine is also not feeling well.  I haven’t had the time  to update it for some weeks now. This is the result of my super busy life. Could you imagine a busy jobless lady? Yes, its me!  There are just a lot of things that always makes me busy.   I guess I will enumerate it next time.

Anyway, I am  still not feeling well now. I guessed I was hit by  a virus called influenza. Not really good! This started after our trip in Spain. During that time Catalonia, a region in Spain,  where we stayed during our 4 days trip, was quite hot. When we returned to Germany last Monday July 16, 2012, the weather was quite cold and chilly.  I  am not feeling well since last Wednesday but I still managed  to have a trip in Zurich last  Saturday despite of cough and running nose. I am still  happy that despite being sick I did  not had a bad headache.  This is the reason why I can still  go online.

I hope to feel well very soon. There are  a lot of things that the jobless lady needs to be finished before setting-off again in a few weeks.

Why does the faith provision the advisory contempt?

I am not really good in baking but hubby says that I can bake good. One very good example he said was the Apfelstrudel I made the other day. This was already the second time that I baked this German dessert. I usually buy it in a bakery. A friend gave me a recipe last time but I lost it or maybe I gave it to another friend. Since the taste of this dessert is still in my mind, I just easily magic my own recipe. It is very easy!

I just browsed tonight its recipe but it is quite complicated for me. Besides, I only buy ready-made dough they called Bläterteig in German. I only used fresh apple, cinnamon and sugar and that’s it. It is really very easy to prepare.

Busy. busy… busy! Somebody was really busy the past weeks. She is finally back online. This is also the reason why she has some now now making some yummy food. Since it is strawberry time  since last  month, I did made a strawberry cake last week.

I don’t really bake cakes but sometimes do it once in a while.  I would say  five to ten times a year. lol!  Here is the strawberry cake that I made last week.

I  bought a ready-made floor for the cake. Put the fresh strawberries on top.  Cooked the jelly and poured it on top. This is the result now of my yummy strawberry cake. Hubby loves it!

I am still catching for Mother’s day greetings.  I received this from a group message in facebook. This is quite nice to share  especially for  our lovely mothers out there.  This made me smile when I was reading this…this is simply cool! To the unknown  authors of these, you did a great job!
