The monument erected to Johann Sebastian Bach near the St. Thomas Church, Leipzig.
I had the chance to visit Leipzig last December 2013. I took the chance to go around the city and found some of its historic sights and monuments. One of it was the St. Thomas Church. Bach worked here as a Kapellmeister. It is also the place where his remains was buried. Beside this church, also stand the monument of Bach.
There should be a choir performing that day during my visit in St. Thomas Church. Sad to say, I was not able to witness it due to limited time. I admired the music of Bach. No wonder, I have some CDs of his music collection. What I just need next time is one of these stanton headphones at Guitar Center . I can use this headphones when listening to Bach’s music. Although during the time of Bach there were still no technology like computers and internet, his talent was still made known around the world.
