Tasting German Food: Schweinebraten Mit Knödel

Let’s travel to the world of food again! Before that, I want to express my gratitude because I am feeling very better now. I believed I am 99% well now after almost two weeks of being sick. A bad influenza caught me and after over a week of taking medications, thanks God I am feeling good now. See how important, our health is? You cannot go or travel anywhere if you are sick. That is why no travel for November for me!

German Schweinebraten or  pot roasted pork with Knödel or Potato dumplings.

It’s been a long time since I did not share the foods I tasted from my travels. This time we are going to Germany to taste this so-called Germany  Schweinebraten or pot roasted pork. You can order this in any of the German restaurants.  I usually prepare this food in my kitchen but it has been a long time since I did not prepare it. Would you think I need some wood scoops in serving some in my plate?

My friends and family love to eat this.  There is a special sauce use in eating this  German delicacies. It is called as the “Schweinebraten  Sosse”.  DH said,  that the home-made sauce  I make everytime  I  cook this food is much better that any restaurants. lolz! I guess,  it is time for me to cook this  food again. Hopefully this weekend. The last time I prepared it was last spring time.
