The Beautiful Scenery in Kastelruth, Italy
I was happy and at the same time sad during the trip we had in Italy, Austria and Switzerland last June 2013. I was happy because I was able to witness the beautiful scenery in Kastelruth. This municipality, also known as Castelrotto in Italian is located in South Tyrol in northern Italy. It is not so far in Bolzano, around 20 km.

“The Seiser Alm is known in Italian as Alpe di Siusi. It is the largest high altitude Alpine meadow in Europe. Located in Italy’s South Tyrol province in the Dolomites mountain range, it is a major tourist attraction, known for skiing and hiking.”
I was sad because, I did not really experience some of the things I expected to see during that trip. I understand, it was a long trip from where we departed in Regensburg, Germany. If you are not lucky enough, the trip will turn out not so good especially if the driver will arrive late. He was late for more than an hour, the reason why we did not had much time in our sightseeing in Kastelruth.

I would love to ride the cable car going to Seiser Alm but since we also arrived late in Kastelruth, we were not able to catch the last cable train going up to this mountain. What we did was go around sightseeing in this little town. I also enjoyed the beautiful scenery around the area, the hills, the mountains, the forests, the trees, the old buildings, the animals like cows and more.
After our sightseeing for one and a half hour, we proceeded to our hotel in Malosco, Italy. I slept good that night considering the location of our hotel seeing the beauty of nature around.
