Euro Disney: One of The Best Days Out In Paris

Disneyland Paris is a collection of amazing theme parks, including Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios, Disney Village, several themed hotels and Golf Disneyland. It has been one of the most popular tourist destinations for decades now, and the fact that is so close to the city centre – around 32 kilometres outside Paris – makes it very easily accessible.

As a holiday destination, Disneyland can be a great adventure for people of all ages. However, without proper preparation you can find that you will be under a lot of stress rather than enjoying yourself. This is a guide on how to get the most out of your holiday and make sure it is not ruined.

Tickets

Booking your tickets can be done in one of a variety of ways. You can book at the ticketing gates which is especially useful if you are visiting the park for longer than three days, or you can book your tickets online and then print off your receipts. Booking them online is almost always cheaper than buying them at the ticketing booth unless you are buying for multiple days.

You can also buy the add-on of the FastPass tickets when you are purchasing your tickets, meaning you join a different queue for rides. This may be a time saver, but these tickets will cost €60.

Also ensure that you check out the current offers that are available on tickets although these offers are generally only available during the low season. Even if there are no offers on, there are a variety of different kinds of tickets you can purchase that may suit your circumstances better than the standard entrance tickets.

Meet and Greets

Your children will more than likely be more interested in meeting their favourite characters rather than going on the rides, so ensure that you have an autograph book from the Disney store ready. You can also enter the hotel lobbies in the parks where you will be able to see a gathering of the most popular characters. This is an easy way to get your children’s autograph books filled up and is completely free.

Getting Even More

If you feel like ensuring you get the most out of your trip to Disneyland then there are other options for you to pursue. The “Extra Magic Hours” pass means that you can visit the higher profile rides before the queues start to form saving you plenty of time later in the day.

If you are visiting the park with small children you can take advantage of the Baby Swap service on rides that are not designed for small children. This enables one of your family members to queue while another waits by the exit point with the small children. Once the person queuing exits, the adult by the entrance can then enter by the exit point to enjoy the ride.
