A Short Break in Letterfrack, Ireland

I set my alarm the night before so that I can wake-up exactly at 6:00. The date was March 20, 2013, where the whole group will have a bus trip to Connemara, Ireland. Our breakfast will start at 7:30 and before that I want to get ready for the day trip. The batteries of my cameras were already fully charged for new photos to be taken that day. Could you imagine bringing three cameras with you. Yes, I do! Just to make it sure that all my travels are documented by taking pictures. Besides, I am planning to do something with all the images that I took from my travels.

After eating breakfast, I always see to it to go back my hotel room to brush my teeth. Unlike any other people who were in our group, they just proceeded  to the bus after eating breakfast without  brushing their teeth.  That is quite a girl scout or boy scout style. That was their choice but sorry guys  that one would not work  for  me.  Besides I want to stay fresh as possible during the  day. ..yay!

Before 8:30 everyone was already inside the bus getting ready for the next trip to Connemara. We had a lunch break that time in Letterfrack. According to our tourist guide, she lives in that area and she know well the owner of the  Old Monastery Hostel.  This place is quite interesting.  I feel like visiting a  museum when I had a look around inside. The owner was so friendly and the tea I ordered tasted good.  I actually forgot the bread that the owner served during that short coffee break. let me just say, it was an Irish bread. lolz! There were also cookies. I was full after eating  bread with butter and  marmalade and some cookies paired with an Irish tea.

I will share to you soon the short conversation I had with the owner of this  hostel, including some information our tourist guide had  imparted to us regarding this place called Letterfrack. Have a nice day  everyone!

    Hallo Ruby,
    Elisabeth
